Hard Bump Above Eyebrow. Should I Be Worried?

Hi, about 3 months ago a friend of mine asked if i hit my head above my right eyebrow but i never did. I seem to have a hard bump there and it feels like bone, doesnt move, and doesnt hurt. 2 days ago i went to the doctors and all he did was feel it and said it could be from hitting my head and the bone grew out more, but he wouldnt listen to me when i said i did not hit it. I think he may have called it osteoma. I have an appointment do go see a dermatologist in a month but i was just wondering if this could be anything else and should i be worried? He also said it doesnt seem cancerous and the dermatologist might just wave it off but its annoying because people are noticing it. Any Ideas?

Hi,

You are having swelling on forehead above right eyebrow...right?
It is hard and non movable.
The swelling would be either osteoma or fibroma attached to fascia on skull bone.
I usually advise my patients having such problem ,to consult plastic surgeon.
He will examine you, will do lab and radiological test for firm diagnosis.
Only perfect treatment is surgery.. Excision of lesion under local anaesthesia.
He will do excision with taking care of good look cosmetically.

You will be completely alright.
I hope you got my answer.
