Hand Injury, Purple Bruise, Numb Fingers, Tingling When Rubbed

I hit my hand with my keys while I was swinging them around. I felt a sharp pain and no feeling In my pointer finger. A purple spot almost like a bruise instantly showed up. The pain subsided after a few moments but its been 3 days and I have no feeling on the right side of my pointer finger. If I rub near my wrist I experience a weird tingly feeling in it also.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The symptoms that you have described are likely to be due to a nerve injury in the area. This is likely to subside on its own after the hematoma in the area subsides.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
