Hairfall, Reduced Hair Growth On Head. Any Solution?
hi i m 26, i live in uk been 3 years , originally i m from asia n here on study visa... 2 years ago i got some small patches in my whole head n i m female aswell n my hairs started fall down rapidly then i took some medicine n lotion from back home after that patches fill but i took a hair cut because my long hair was less n less day by day so i took hair cut patches filled up but hair growth stopped n i hv a same length hair which i took even not a tiny bit improvement so what shall i hv to do plz tell me any solution..
Hello, Welcome o health care magic. From your description, it seems to me that you had alopecia aereata. This is a condition characterised by a sudden onset of bald patches on the scalp. In 70% of the cases, the hair regrows on its own. From your history, it seems that that problem has resolved now. As far as your overall hair growth is concerned, i suggest you get your hemoglobin and thyroid status checked. If these 2 are normal, you could take oral biotin supplements.
