Hair Fall, Migraines After Hysterectomy. Taking Estradiol. Normal Hormone Levels. Continue Medication?

Im a 43 yr old woman and after a total hysterectomy my dr prescribed 1mg of the HRT drug estradiol (to prevent bone loss and menopause symptoms). I've been on it for almost 2 years. Since the beginning, my hair falls out (side effect of the drug according to websites) and it also caused migraines so I took half the dose for about 6 months. I went back to full dose now since my hair breakage wasnt getting better - the headaches lessoned. Is there anything I can take instead of this? I had my hormones tested once since the surgery & levels were fine. Do I need to stay on HRT?
