Had Unsafe Sex. Why Am I Spotting. Am I Pregnant?

I have a question about spotting. I have ha sex with my boyfriend, and only one time was without a condone and that was because it fell off but we stopped before anything happened. I have been on bc for 6 months, 3 months on the same pill . I am now having slight spotting in my underwear and it s still 2 weeks before my period. Could I be pregnant or just spotting? I have never spotted before

Hello Julia
Thank you for getting in touch with us. From what I see, you wanted to inquire if you are pregnant. As you are on birth control pills, the chances of you being pregnant are remote. However, there are many cases where birth control pills fail and women get pregnant. As you have not mentioned when you have an intercourse without protection, we would recommend you to conduct a home pregnancy test if 10-12 days have passed since the intercourse. You can also get in touch with your Ob-Gyn Doctor who can conduct a pregnancy test along with an ultrasound to check for pregnant. Hope this helps
