My period began regular the next few months. But I just got off my period 2 days ago, I ve gained weight and I have a lot of cramps. It feels like I m about to start another period.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear,

The irregularities in periods can be attributed to hormonal imbalance (secondary to intake of emergency contraceptive pills), stress, infection or pathology of ovary, fallopian tubes or uterus.

So, kindly consult a Gynecologist & get a proper clinical examination done.
Investigation like complete blood count, Thyroid profile & Ultrasound scan of abdomen & pelvis will be helpful.

Take care.
