Hello, I just had unprotected sex with my husband about three hour ago. After an hour I took one tablet of Gynaecosid and am yet to take the second one. Please I will like to know if it will work. I am within the 12 day after my mensuration. I had unprotected sex eight day after my period but I felt am save so didn't use any drugs but today is the 12th - 12th day so I decided to take one tablet of Gynaecosid. I hope it works.

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Fertile period is 3 days before & 2 days after ovulation & you are in mid of your cycle.
To avoid pregnancy you should take emergency contraceptive pills.
Gynaecosid is used in secondary amenorrhea excluding pregnancy for withdrawal bleeding & is not an emergency pill.
I hope your query has been answered.
Regards,
