Hi thanks for your question.
Emergency contraception provided to wife by her Doctor is right and hopefully your wife will start to bleed soon. However this bleeding will be due to effect of drugs and not normal cyclic bleeding.if your wife'as next due cycle is delayed, get her pregnancy test done 10 days after missed period to rule out or confirm pregnancy.
Hope this answeras your question.

OBGYN Dr. Shanti Vennam's  Response
Hello Mr. Kathir,
Regestrone tablets contain Norethisterone and this is not a prescribed emergency contraceptive. You should have used the standard emergency pills. Now, you have to wait for the withdrawal which may sometimes take as long as 10 days after completion of the treatment. In case of conception, she may not get any withdrawal. If she does not get a period, she should test for pregnancy and consult her doctor. Take care.
