Had Unprotected Sex. Taken I Pill. Pregnancy Chances?
helo,doc.....i have a problem about my girlfriend mensuration now in this month.we had unprotected sex earlier of the month and she took an i- pill about to 1 hour after intercourse.she is now tensed enough and scolded me a lot.actually,it has been already 4 or 5 days passed if i consider this month with the previous month.so,what should i do now,please do a reply.and most importantly i don t want to give her an abortion in any cases.please help me,doc!

In case of taking pregnancy control pills for the first time , it usually delays period by few days on the following period, due to hormonal imbalance. So it is normal if the periods returns in one or two days.
On the other hand, there are chances of getting pregnant to few percent, after taking I pill, it is advisable to do an HPT test and know the status of the pregnancy.
If she is tested positive, take her to an nearby gynecologist ,in the first months the product of conception is removed by drugs itself.
