Had Surgery To Correct Broken Jaw. Have Lumps Under Chin. Scan, Biopsy Results Normal. Prescribed Antibiotics. Reason?

I had surgery to correct a broken Jaw 2 years ago. I still have swollen lumps under my chin and neck then weep maybe twice to three times a month. I have been given a scan, due injection and have had a biopsy but results came back clear and have now been put on a course of antibiotics for 3 months but I still do not know what is wrong?

Dentist 's  Response
Hello,
Eventhough the fractured jaws are corrected thro'surgery, the functioning as that of previous healthy jaws will not be attained.
I would advice you to avoid mouth opening too widely.
Jaws has to be immobilised for a while.
Physiotherapy has to be undergone.
Intermittent hot and cold packs can be applied.
If symptoms persists, please do visit a dentist.
Take care.
