Had Surgery On Left Elbow For Moderate Bilateral Compromise On Both Elbows. Pain In Right Elbow, Stated Inflammed Nerve While Operating. Guide
had nerve conduction tests done 10 1/2 months ago showing moderate bilateral compromise in both elbows, and was told i required surgery. had surgery on left elbow 3 months ago, re-tested both arms today and are BOTH now showing normal, despite aching in right elbow still and surgeon stating nerve was inflamed when he operated. am at a complete loss as to how to proceed..

Your nerve study is showing normal report now. then you must feel happy for this. Due to compression there will be some amount of inflammation in nerve, which is natural response. Once compression is removed inflammation slowly disappears. As compression in right elbow is reduced pain could be due to nerve inflammation. Anti inflammatory medications helps to reduce your symptoms. consult your doctor for medication prescription.
