Had surgery during childbirth due to excessive bleeding. Urination normal. What is the problem?

sir,i want to know some thing which was,few days ago my friends wife admitted into hospital for delivery.After delivery the doctors go through the operation because of bleeding.But after operation it was seen that the bleeding stop but urine not passing normaly.urine test done alredy but there is nothing.can you suggest me that what could be the problem.

you had caesarean for childbirth,sometimes during operation ureter ligate with suture,so you might having problem in urination,and you are not able to pass your urine should consult your gynae if your ureter ligated go for another operation to relieve the suture.
