Hi! My sister, who is 78 years old and lives in the Ukraine, had a stroke in spring of 2013. After brain imaging scan (?)Docs said it was an aftermath of previous stroke that passed unnoticed, without complications. This time the left side of her face was distorted and she has a hard time swallowing food. After a wonderful treatment, she recovered and was doing really well for a couple of months. She is completely independent, lives by herself, and takes care of herself. Of course she has some other age-related problems, Including noise in her head (sometimes really bad, sometimes easier) from which she suffered most of her life. But recently she developed involuntary swallowing, that is really bothering her (as if she has saliva. in her mouth, which she doesn't), but has to swallow all the time. It prevents her from falling asleep. Is there a treatment, hopefully physical therapy that can help her get rid of this problem? Thanks. Anastasia
