Had Sex, Was Bleeding. Periods?

hi yeah im just a bit confused at the moment. I recently had sex and when i got home to shower up and all i was bleeding. I was thinking that it may be my period but i never had my period at first before we had it, and now im pretty sure i have my period cos its only been 2 days and its heavy and all. im just worried that something might of went wrong and that i might of had it at the wrong time?? ): mega worried and scared. please help.

If the bleeding is heavy and is bright red then most likely it is due to a local injury to the vaginal mucosa due to the sex. You need to insert a tampoon in the area and see if the bleeding stops in a while. If it continues then do attend an ER for direct examination.
