Had Sex. Saw Blood Spots. What Is The Cause For Spotting? Do I Have UTI?

I just had sex for the first time last night with my boyfriend. After I noticed I had a few blood spots on my underwear. Then when I went home and peed, there was more minor blood stains and it stung a little. I'm confused if this is just part of the hymen tearing and that's what is causing the bleeding or if I have a UTI? Help me!

Hi,
Thanks for using healthcare magic.

I have gone through your history.

Rupture of hymen is most possible cause of blood stain as you had sex for the first time.
But minor vaginal injuries or cervical causes has to be ruled out, particulrly if you have persistant bleed.
In that case, you get examined by your gynecologist.

Please take safe sex mesaures in case of unprotected sex to avoid aquring sexually transmitted diseases and obviusly unwanted pregnancy.

Thanks.
