Had septoplasty and turbinate reduction. Is it ok to smoke marijuana?

I had a septoplasty and turbinate reduction on august 30th. Just want to know if its ok to smoke marijuana. I dont smoke cigarettes but do marijuana in VERY small amounts. Also, my results were amazing as im breathing great. My surgeon removed the cartilage in my septum but i read somewhere that the septum may change back to original form. Is that true?

Hi there ~

I understand your concerns. I do not believe that it is okay to smoke marijuana after you had a septoplasty and turbinate reduction surgery, probably for intractable sinusitis and deviated nasal septum. I believe that smoking cigarettes is also injurious to your health and would like for you to consult a psychiatrist who can educate you regarding the risks you take when you smoke either marijuana or cigarettes. I believe that you are misinformed when you say that the septum may change back to the original form after surgery. However, it is best to consult your operating surgeon for the answers regarding the same.

I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!
