Had Pink Eye, Swelling, Redness, Itching, Watery, White Dot On The Color Part Of Eyeball. White Dot?

hi I recently assumed I had the pink eye due to slight swelling, severe redness, itching, and watery eyes. At times it was hard to open my left eye and it was super sensitive to light. I use a warm suppression for at least four days. The redness is gone some minor itching remains and minor watery eyes everything else is ok but I have noticed a small white dot near on the color part of my eyeball. I can see normal and do not see any blury or white. What could be the cause of the dot on my eye

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
the colored part you are referring is cornea. Based on your history and this observation suggests that the white dot may be due to corneal ulcer or due to foreign body. Need to consult your doctor for examination and further treatment. You cant leave this without unattended. For now wash your eyes with plenty of good water and consult your doctor.

Hope this help you.

Ophthalmologist Dr. Dadapeer K's  Response
HI
It seems from the history that you are having redness, watering, itching... all indicate inflammation of conjunctiva called as conjunctivitis.
The white dot you have mentioned with decrease in the intensity of the symptoms is probably because of involvement of the cornea in the form of keratoconjunctivitis.
The condition requires treatment under the supervision of ophthalmologist as it may rarely become infected corneal ulcer. Hence I advice you to consult your eye doctor for appropriate treatment.
Thank you
