hi, my name is daisy...i am 21 yrs old.i had sex yesterday...and i was rather dry..it was very painful..and towards the end the condom slipped and some of the semen got to me. i took postionor two,both tablets at once approximately thirty minutes after the incident.
my worries are two...
how effective is postinor 2..i took it on day 10 of my menstrual cycle
the sex was so painful and later at night i had vaginal bleeding..is this something i should be worried about?
please help me.

Hi,
Thanks for the query.

As you took the pill within the recommended time, it will possibly give protection towards pregnancy.
But your menstrual period may alter because of the pill.
The pain can be due to dryness in the vagina or it could be due to some local infection or lesion.
You maintain abstinence for few days, so that any local abrasions etc will heal. After that you use some lubricant during intercourse. If the pain and bleeding repeats after this also better to consult gynecologist once and get examined.
