Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi there ~

I understand your concerns. The bump on your head is probably a folliculitis or an infection of the hair root follicle that can be very large and also pulsatile. It will resolve in a few days if you apply enough medications on it and are also on oral antibiotics. I also think that you might need to see a psychiatrist for any anxiety problems you have. I hope this helps.

Take care and have a lovely day!

May be theres a sebaceous cyst developing or mild infection in the area, just take doxycycline Once a day for a month and pain killers for few days,it will be ok.also wash face regularly with cetaphil lotion, acnelak soap (if yours is an oily skin).Take more water.U feel there might be vein due to the local infection. If the bump continues to increase in size meet a surgeon.

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

The most common cause there is sebaceous cyst.
Pain may mean secondary infection
General surgeon or Dermatologist ought to have a look...
It has nothing to with your habits or life style
If it is of so much stress and concern, get it excised....

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck

Hi,
Any injury to your head may therefore result in bleeding under the skin. I f the bleeding is confined to a particular area, a bump or swelling may occur. Such a lump or knot on the ferehead is known as a Hematoma.
A swollen lump on the forehead is often caused by an injury or trauma to the head.
If a Sebaceous cyst causes your bump, the lump would be firm but mobile . Unless there is a infection or inflammation , this type of bump is rarely painful.
Consult with your Doctor.
