Had Nasal Surgery. Having Dizziness, Lightheadedness, Fatigue, Burning Sensation Between Eyes, Nasal Passages. Normal?
I had nasal surgery jan.24 for fungal infection under general anasthetic. Post CT scan shows clear sinuses with a little post op swelling. I am still experiencing dizziness , lightheadedness , and fatigue. Morning and evening chills have subsided. Still have a slight burning sensation between the eyes and top of nasal passages. I am waiting for results of alergy blood screening test. Is this normal for a person 64 years old?
Hello
Welcome in H.C.M. for consultation.
I read your query regarding dizziness, lightheadedness, and fatique after surgery for fungal sinusitis.
Since about one month had passed after your surgery and about 3 to 4 weeks is recovery period for all swelling to subside, but your age is 64 and your post operative C.T. is normal and does not show any intracranial complication so need not worry, I think you will be alright after some time if you are non diabetic and does not having any other metabolic disorder.
Please check your Blood sugar, ser creatinin, serum proteins, and a thorough nasal examination for secondary infection as all these matter for recovery.
With Regards.
