Had Knee Replacement. Has Redness, Bruising And Fever. Advice?

My husband had a total knee replacement 5 days ago. He was transferred to a rehab facility 3 days post op. Day 4 he developed redness and brusing and running a fever that fluctuates from 99.2 to 100.5. He was put on keflex. He looks good other than this. Also they just advised him tonight that he is retaining fluid in the legs

Ask your doctor if there is infection in the knee-in that case aspiration cytology/bacterial culture may be indicated.
