Had heart surgery, suffered a severe nose bleed. Cause of worry?

My friend had a heart surgery three weeks ago. Two days ago, while sleeping, his nose has bled and the sheet, quilt, pillow cases were all soaked with blood . He had heart surgery then he must be taking Ecospirin or Clopidogrel tablets antiplatlet drugs so that clot is not formed ,they are normally advised after heart surgery.
But if he has bleeding then you must take care of--
1.His Blood pressure. should not rise
2. get done prothombin time ,INR so that the drugs can be titrated if the test reports are high.
3. Prevent drying up of both nasal cavities mucosa by using Normal saline spray and also neosporin ointment for local application in nose two times a day but not with finger.just press the nozzle of tube at the nasal cavity opening and leave as such and clean the ointment left outside with a clean cloth .
