Had Endoscopic Sinus Surgery. How Long Will Take The Swelling To Go Down? Will The Polyps Recur?

I had recently had Endoscopic Sinus Surgery a week ago. How soon will the swelling in my face go down, will the polyps return( the doctor stated I had thousands, every time she took one out another popped up, she got out as many as she could)... how can I treat it and is it possible to use home remidies to prevent re-occurrance of these nasty stuff... I do feel much better but my nose feels pretty dry, after the 7th day of recovery, should I continue using the saline solution.

Hi

The swelling should go down in 3-4 days, though other symptoms of surgery can stay longer. The polyps can return. The treatment for polyps is surgery. Home remedies may not work. Continue the saline solution as long as you have dryness. Avoid allergies and cold. Avoid the triggers like cold air, dry air, pollen dust, etc. Take lots of fruits and vegetables to boost immunity.
