Had Cold And Cough, Fever. Taken Airomol Pd And Pro Xtl. Side Effects?
My baby is 9 months old..he had cold and cough and suddenly suffering from fever on a continuous basis. when the fever medicine is given, the temperature drops and again its back to fever in 8-10 hours for the last 2 days. The doctor gives the medicine airomol pd liquid and an antibiotic named proxtl 50 now sometimes also fever comes. Can you please suggest if the given treatment is fine? what are the side effects of these medicines??

First do blood test of your baby for fever.
Stop antibiotic, because antibiotic also may cause of fever.
Give only syp. Paracetamol.
