OBGYN 's  Response
Hi,
There are two possible reasons- hypotension or the falling of blood pressure consequent upon the spinal becoming a little higher in level or due to blood loss during surgery ( blood loss is more while operating with a placenta praevia ). It need not get repeated as it is a one time condition. The blood transfusion you had was due to the loss suffered during surgery due to the placenta being praevia. You should inform the anesthetist of the previous experience before hand so that they can take proper care. Hope you find this information useful. Wish you safe motherhood.

OB & GYN Specialist Dr. Richa Agarwal's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
You should not scared of caesarean section this time, the symptoms developed in previous caesarean section after spinal anaesthesia are side effect of spinal anaesthesia because blood pressure fall down after anaesthesia causes this type of symptoms.
So please do not worry and get your caesarean done, nothing will be happen to you.
Take care.
Regards
Dr. Richa
