hi I had breast pain and I consulted to gyneco two months before then i took medicine as per her advice
now from last two months i m getting less bleedng in menses,
why this happened, while medicine was given to sort out harmonal im balance
now my breast size is getting more & more
also tummy is increasing
why & what should i do
Sorry to hear about your problem. It seems like your gynecologist put you on some hormonal pills, which have affected the menses and the breast size. You should consult the gynecologist again and consider stopping the medicine, if it is causing you trouble.
Also you should carry out a pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy.
Hi, the most common medication given to breast tenderness is danazol, which is a modified progesterone (basically a hormone involved in your periods). And this particular drug could mimic progesterone which is the hormone which prepares you for pregnancy, logically in pregnancy your breast will enlarge. And your mensural irregularity could directly be due to the drug. But for safer side please do consult a gynecologist. Get your ovarian hormone profile done. i will also suggest you to get a ultrasound done. wish you a good health.
