Had Breast Cancer, Treated With Radiotherapy. Pain In Collarbone, Lost Sense Of Smell. Is That Related?

Hi I am recovering from left breast cancer surgery and radio therapy treatment, now on Letrazole for 5 years, now 3 years in and have started having pain in upper right arm radiating up to collarbone and neck as high as my right ear, have had this pain on and off for 3 weeks, now becoming more persistent, have also lost my sense of smell about 99% rarely smell anything these days, again has been happening for past 3 weeks, should I see my GP. Thanks for any advice you are able to offer, Helen Gilmour

Oncologist, Surgical 's  Response
Dear Ma'am,

Sorry to hear about your problem. Considering your past history of breast cancer, it is best that you consult your oncologist and schedule a CT scan of the head to look for the cause of loss of smell. The pain in the right arm could be due to cervical spine problem and the scan can cover that areas as well.

Hoping for the best.
