Had Bleeding, Miscarriage, Ovarian Cyst, Endometriosis. On Medication. Is This Normal?

hi, am Catherine. the last time i was sexually involved was July 2nd and on 20th of the same month. Apparently i conceived and did not know so am not even sure which date i conceived. am 29 yrs and have never been pregnant before as i was really looking for a baby with no luck. august 19th i started spotting and thought it was my normal cycle. it the started increasing by the day and i realized i was on the third week and the bleeding was a lot. i had no signs of pregnancy apart from my breasts swelling. i went to the hospital and the test was positive though i was told i had a miscarriage. they later found i had ovarian cyst and endometriosis. i had to be operated which happened on 14th September. after two weeks i started bleeding again and went to the hospital and given some medication to stop it. now is 2 weeks again and i have started bleeding again. my question is normal or what is going on? how long should i stay before trying for a baby after laparatory?

Hi,
the reasons for this type of bleeding are:
1. incomplete abortion leading to a few reatined bits in uterus that bleed. to know this get an ultrasound done.
2. Since you did not know that you were pregnant it seems you already had problems of irregular periods. This may be an extension of the same. If your periods were regular, this may be due to the ovarian cyst. It takes upto 2.3 months sometimes for periods to regularize. An ultrasound will help in ruling out any other pathology.

So get an ultrasound done as soon as possible.
Hope this helped. Have a nice day.
