Had Baby By C Section, Having Lower Back Pain, Difficulty In Sleeping, Missing Periods. What To Do?

I had a baby four months ago now a C section epicidural. I am now experience extreme lower back . pain and feeling very unwell. The pain seems to be a lot worse at night as i am having difficulty sleeping. I have not had a period since coming home from the hospital. Just wondering if I should head to the local hospital.

Hi, it is normal to miss periods for four months post delivery especially if you are breastfeeding. However you should use contraception ,if sexually active, even in the absence of periods. It is certainly not normal to have such severe backache and you must visit an orthopedic for the same.
