Had Acupuncture For Headaches. Mild Pain At The Back Of Head. How Long Will It Last?

Hi I ha last Sunday accupuncture for headaches . One needle or two were placed in my head. Since then I have this mild pain at the right back of my head throughout day. It is not bad that I have to take tablet for headache. Pain comes and goes. I wander if acupuncturist hit the nerve and if yes, how long this occasional pain will last? Thanks

Hello,
Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query.
I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
irs possible that there could have been a local trauma with the acupuncture. Normally the healing takes place in 10-15 days. If it persists the area need to be examined if there is an infection over it. If there is redness around the pricked area then you should seek medical attention immediately.
Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
