Had Abortion, Home Pregnancy And Blood Test Positive, Missing Periods. Advice?
Hello.... i had a abortion on 4/11/12 9weeks ago tomorrow 5/6/12... when i went for my 2week check up things were fine and i was told to come back if i didnt have a period within 4 weeks. Well needless to say i didn t so i went back after taking 3 home pregnancy test that all came back positive, the dr. s urine test came back negative so i took a blood test that came back positive w/ hcg levels at 58 i still havent had a period so what should i do?

as you had 3 home pregnancy tests positive and one blood test positive for pregancy with HCG levels,
all these showing that you are pregnant.
some urine test kits are less sensitive that may be responsible for negative test by the doctor.
you continue taking folic acid tablets and muti vitamins and minerals tablets.
you can get ultrasound done at 5 to 6 weeks to find out the gestational sac.
