Had A Wedge Fracture Caused By An Accident. Still Have Pain. On Rivotril & Oxycontin. Pain Still Exists. Suggestions?

I have an 80% wedge fracture to my T5 vertabrae cause by a motor bike accident 7 years ago. I was badly smashed up but everything else healed except the T5. I am in 8- 10 pain on a lot of days and most of the time the pain never goes unless I'm sleeping. I worked for 6 years in pain with the help of opiates, now they have combined them with muscle realxants, Rivotril and Oxycontin 40mgs twice a day but even with this many meds the pain is so bad I cannot function. I also cracked some ribs. I wasn't given a brace. I know throacic surgery is very dangerous and haven't had it yet. Any advice would be helpful. I have tried just about every known eastern and western therapy but none of them have worked. Everything else healed, guess a wedge fracture can't heal and is supposed to be stable because of my ribs, but I don't think mine is stable as I have MRI's lying down and it looks like nothing is impinging on my cord. Also I haven't got any other problems like incotinence so guess I am very luck. I know thoracic isn't supposed to be painful but the pain in my right side back and shoulders is just crazy. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you
