Had A Pre Term Baby. Advised To Had Threatened Abortion And Cervix Incompetent. Now Expecting. On Prontogest. Problem?
Ihad a pre term birth and the baby passed away after 3 days.I was remaining few days to be 8 Month pregnant when this happened..I visited two doctors and they told me different causes of the pre-mature birth.One said threatened abortion and cervix incompetent.I'm three months now expecting and scared.I am given prontogest now to prevent another pre term birth

Let me explain to you that a fetus of more then 28 weeks survive very easily so in future need not to worry.
Prontogest is just for precaution to prevent any miscarriage and good for you.
In my opinion consult your Gynnaecologist and take precaution on antenatal care . Don't be panic ,sometimes few mishap occurs .
Take tablets of folic acid and essential Vitamins prescribed by your doctor.

2) Please get cervical length measured. If short, get cervical stitch put to prevent preterm birth or abortion.
