Had A Missed Periods. Taken MTP Kit. Got Bleeding. Pregnancy Test Positive. How To Terminate Pregnancy?

Hi Myself Priya,27 yrs old and i have a 1year old baby , i had a periods on 29 dec 2012 but did not have on jan then i taken a Mtp Kit on 14 Feb and a 1 tab of Mifepristone and then next 2 days taken a 2 *200 MCG misoprostol At a same time , and then got a bleeding on 15 feb then it was over on 25 feb , but i hv test the pregnancy on 26 feb i found it +ve , . so now what i have to do for termination of pregnancy ?

Thanks for writing to us.
The urine pregnancy test is not reliable for knowing if the abortion was complete.
Also, these medical abortion pills are not meant to be taken by yourself.
They are to be taken under strict medical guidance.
A pregnancy has to be confirmed, dated by a gynecologist, and pills prescribed by a doctor, and completion too confirmed by the doctor.
Risks of infection, severe bleeding, retained products etc arise.
Please see a doctor immediately to have an ultrasound, and rule out retained products, and then further medicines / surgical abortion.
