Had A Meningioma Removed From An Optic Nerve. Now There Is A Dent. Recommendations To Improve The Look
I recently had a meningioma removed from an optic nerve. There is now a dent on the upper right side of my temple which I find very unsightly. I have often been referred to as attractive and although I have never thought of myself as vain, this bothers me. Many say I should just wear it as a badge of honor but my 3 young children don't see it that way. Anyway this can be made more palatable?
Hello friend, An operation scar is an unavoidable feature. The dent on the right upper temple has to be taken lightly. I can understand the cosmetic defect on your appearance and the mental worry you suffer from If you can come up with a photograph of the site, I can suggest you further. I am a Homoeopath and so I shall try to answer in a Homoeopathic perspective. What is more important is the constitutional feature that made you suffer from a more serious pathology on optic nerve and you have to get treatment to avoid a recurrence of a similar condition. I have no idea about your age. Your mental make up give me to understand that you are serious about simple things and not so serious about more serious matters. This, according to Homoeopathy, is a peculiar mental make up which indicates the Homoeopathic Medicine Baryta Carb. This should be taken in High Potency like 10 M or higher. In Homoeopathy, the disease is not treated but the individual is treated. So once you are treated, your chance of recurrence of another tumour on optic nerve or other nerve tissue, which is more important in your case, can be prevented. Along with that your dent on the external will also be corrected to the maximum possible extent. Wishing you the best health through Homoeopathy. Dr. C. J. Varghese Homoeopath
