Hello and welcome to HCM.

Thank you for your query.

I can understand your concern. But you need to understand that there are a lot of changes that take place hormonally, especially after a procedure like TAH. From your description, it appears as though you are experiencing a vaginal atrophy, and the urethral irritation could be due to a lack of lubrication or even an infection.

The easy solution to this is estrogen supplementation. You will of course have to get your hormone levels checked, but in my opinion, this is the solution.

Estrogen can be taken in the following ways:
-Vaginal estrogen applications
-Estrogen releasing implants
-Estrogen supplemental pills

Please discuss the same with your doctor, get evaluated, and go about the treatment accordingly. Wishing you lots of luck with your fiance and for your future.

I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications at: http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-shoaib-khan/64581I would gladly help you.

Best wishes.
