Had IUI. Missed Period, Taking Susten. Can Susten Cause Delayed Period?

Hi I had an IUI on 19th July 2013, its now 6th August 2013. I have missed my period. I am on susten 200 suppository 1 at night before sleep. I haven't done a HPT test till now. My Doctor said to wait for 2 to 3 days. I want to know can susten 200 make my period delay or am I pregnant. I had three dominant follicles this cycle.

Hello,

Following missed period, it is ideal to wait few days or at least 1 week before going to pregnancy test. It gives more accurate result at that time with home pregnancy test.

Susten is micronised progesterone and is given to support pregnancy with prevention of miscarriage. Kindly consult with your doctor regarding this.

Hope, it helps for your information. Good luck.
