Greater Side Effects After Using LASIK Surgery For Astigmatism?

I am considering LASIK surgery to correct a nearsightedness/astigmatism. I have researched LASIK and come up with the following most common side effects:
Dry eye, Detached flap, Halo, Blur, Bad night vision

Are the possibilities greater for those side effects with the type of correction I need? Do "enhancements" correct these side effects? I have also seen that a person who's eyes dilate really big could be at risk?

Hi thanks for using HCM.

The side fffects you are referring may occur in any patient undergoing LASIK but it is not mandatory to occur in all patients. The side effects depends on the surgery, Doctor's experience, your response to surgery. For some patients with minor refraction problems, the sight will improve with enhancements. So discuss with your opthalmologist about it and iff required then go ahead with LASIK. Hope I answered your question. Wish you good health.
