Got over bronchitis, lymph nodes have been swollen. Why headaches, infected ears?

Hi, I just got over bronchitis , and my lymph nodes have been swollen off and on (mostly on) for about 2-3 weeks. I ve also had very bad headaches , pressure headaches in certain areas, and my ears feel like they are infected as well. could this be serious, or am I still fighting off the disease? (I also stopped smoking about 1 month ago)

Dear Sir
Hello I am Dr Ravinder Sharma ENT surgeon
On the basis of information provided it appears that you have frequent infections(bronchitis, lymphadenopathy and ear infection)
I wouls advise you for Fine needle aspiration biopsy (a needle is passed in the swelling and the aspirate is examined under microscope to know about the disease) from the lymph nodes and a ENT consultation for the problem related to ear.
Smoking increase the risk of airway infection, tuberculosis and malignancy. ENT consultation, report of fine needle aspiration biopsy and endoscopy of airway ( at back of nose- nasopharyngoscopy, voice box-laryngoscopy and chest- bronchoscopy) may be required to make a diagnosis
It is quite probabale that your disease needs further treatment

I hope this answers your concerns. Feel free to contact me if your need more information on this

With warm regards
Ravinder Sharma
