Got Diarrhea For Two Weeks While Travelling. Causes And Treatment?
Hello Doctor, We were a group of 24 people including children, elderly and adults travelling to North India. We all got diarrhea (watery stools ). We haven t recovered even after two weeks with intermittent bouts of remmission. What are the possible causes and tests for diagnosis and treatment. Since we all got it, seems like food or water borne disease. Kindly Advise.

It seems that you might have gastroenteritis due to polluted food or water.
Go for stool test to find out bacterial or amoebic infection.
Go for ofloxacillin,tinidazole combination treatment for 3-5 days.
