Got Depo Shot. Feeling Tenderness In Breasts And Uncomfortable In Abdomen. What Could It Be?

I got my last depo shot in July of 2012 which wore off in October of 2012 and my period came back in October like normal and have been ever since until May this month 7 days after ovulation and 7 days before my period was due I woke up bleeding a little so I put in a tampon thinking I was starting early about 4 hours later I checked and I was mostly spotting that lasted for 2 days and then nothing I am now 4 days late I took a hpt yesterday and It was negative I haven't really had any symptoms other than a little tenderness only in my right breast and just an odd feeling in the lower left and right of my abdomen that comes and goes. I'm really unsure of what to think of this or if I'm overthinking it all. I'm not stressed or anything I just know what has become normal to me and what happens this month has not been normal to say the least. Any opinion on what it could be would be greatly appreciated.

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The mild pain and tenderness that you are feeling is likely to be due to the hormonal change caused by the depo shot. These are common side effcets and are likely to decrease in 2-3 weeks.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
