Got A Cotton Swab Stuck In The Ear. Pulled Out With Oil, Tweezers. How To Remove The Remaining Pieces?

Hi. I recently got the cotton from a cotton swab stuck in my ear. I put oil in the ear and managed to get the main and biggest part out with tweezers. What would you suggest doing to make sure I flush out any remaining pieces if they are still in there? I don't see any but just in case. Should I just use water or would an ear wax removal kit help? Thanks.

Hello,
thanks for using health care magic

manipulation of the ear is a risky procedure because
any non controlled manipulation exposes the tympanic
membrane to trauma which is a terrible thing with potential
hearing loss.

You need to go to the ER ear examination using an otoscope
that enable the doctor to visualize the tympanic canal and if
there is any foreign particle it could be carefully removed by
the doctor.

Best regards
Dr Achuo
