Hi, Thanks for writing to us. Getting one or two acne lesions prior to menses is normal. It occurs due to a hormone known as progesterone which increases hydration of the pilo sebaceous glands and block it. It also increases sebum production, the combined two effects lead to blockade of oil gland causing acne. As you are having too many pimples other wise also, a course of oral antibiotic like doxycycline along with topical medicines like adapalene benzoyl peroxide combination( epiduo or deriva BPO) would help. To treat the marks if the cream prescribed by your doctor is too strong try Kojic acid based cream instead( like Kojic) Hope that helped. Take care
