Hello and Welcome to HCM,
Thanks for writing to us.
Front teeth gap can be treated orthodontically or cosmetically depending on the appearance of variety of dental problems. Some people wear teeth braces to let their teeth move together. Again your dentist may recommend veneers, dental bonding and dental crowns to close teeth gap if he finds your lateral incisors too small. But if there is issue of missing teeth then you may require other dental repair procedures like dental implants, bridge or teeth bonding.
If the large labial frenum tissue is responsible for causing teeth gap, a surgery called frenectomy is suggested to remove excess tissue.
Hope this helps you.
Wishing you good health...
Regards.

Hello and welcome to hcm,

Natural teeth are always comfortable aesthetically as well as functionally compared with artificial teeth replaced.
I would suggest you to go for orthodontic appliances than replacing the tooth which will give bad appearance.
You can also go for a second opinion regarding this.
Since front teeth are very important to maintain your original appearance, get the gap corrected.
If your frenal attachment is high, frenectomy has to be done to prevent opening up of space between front teeth.
Also maintain good oral hygiene too.
Take care.

Hi,

Thanks for asking the query,

Natural teeth are more comfortable than artificial teeth, I would suggest you to visit an Orthodontist and get the orthodontic treatment done rather than replacing the tooth.

If you are finding the treatment expensive you can visit to a Dental college where your treatment can be done at reasonably low prices.

Get the check up done, look for any high labial frenum attachment if present you have to go for frenectomy.

Hope this helps out.

Hello there ,

Thanks for writing your query,

Getting the front teeth extracted just to get rid of the gaps is definitly not a good idea.

spacing between the upper front teeth is called as MIDLINE DIASTEMA , which can be treated in two ways .

either it can be treated by orthodontic fixed wiring procedures which brings the tooth movement to close the gap over aperiod of time , you need to consult a orthodontist and get your oral status examined for this.

second option is cosmetic closure of the gap either my composite restorations or by ceramic crown coverage to bring the upper front teeth close together .

please visit a dentist and get the examination and evaluation done by taking x rays and accordingly treatment can be planned.

i hope this helps ,

take care.

hello dear
Normally orthodontic treatment is recomended for closing the gap between the front teeth. If you are finding it costly then consult in any dental college, charges are quite low there.Other option can be capping / laminates of front teeth.Second option is with small treatmnent duration, but definately first option is considered to be more safer.

Hello,
Ideally an orthodontic treatment would be sufficient to fix the problem. The other alternative is you can get a smile designing done by your dentist. A ceramic bridge can be done for six of your front teeth to cover up the space between the teeth. Extraction of teeth is not an ideal solution unless the teeth are mobile.
