Friction Burn From Sexual Intercourse. Reddish Penis With White Spots. Treatment?

My boyfriend has receieved fiction burn from sexaul intercourse. He states that it doesn't burn or itch. And it only hurts when we are active. It is red, with white heads in it, it looks like bubbles. He has been using triple antibotic ointment for a day but has been acfmtive in the process. Is there something else he should do.

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi there ~

I understand your concern. There is nothing called friction burn from sexual intercourse. It could be that he has some sort of infection with having had intercourse and needs to be examined. You also need to see a dermatologist along with him so that it helps with the diagnosis. Please consult one as soon as you can.

Also you might need to consult an psychiatrist to find out if your boyfriend has any difficulties in libido or has other mental health concerns like depression. Otherwise, he has a very common problem of erectile dysfunction and / or premature ejaculation and it can be easily treated with medications available during this time. The class of medication is called phosphodiesterase 5 inhibitors (PDE5Inh) selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors and it also helps with decreased libido which is a result of depression if you are going through one.

I advise you to consult with a qualified psychiatrist who might be able to help in this regard. I hope this helps.

Take care and have a lovely day!
