Frequent Urination, Thrush, Tiredness, Excessive Thirst. History Of Childbirth 6 Months Ago. Due To Childbirth Or Signs Of Diabetes?

hi, I feel I show signs of diabetes I have booked a gp appointment for next week. I had a baby six months ago and symptoms started then, such as thrush, nothing gets rid of this and prior to pregnancy I never experienced it. Difficult to know if my tiredness is from a new baby or diabetes! I am constantly urinating am very thirsty and generally feel unwell. I am not overweight and am active?? can you shed any light on my symptoms many thanks DB

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Thrush is main cause of concern ?
Oropharyngeal candidiasis means thrush occurs in neonates ( their mother), who, used antibiotics ( prolong use), steroids.
Treatment is antifungal solution and oral antifungal.

In my opinion , you are not a patient of diabetes as no symptoms indicates towards diabetes.
Tiredness, urination are due to post delivery tension.
Get in blood for sugar level and urine for sugar.

Stress and anxiety are two reasons of your problems ,so please don't take any tension , relax.
Good luck.
