Frequent Urination. What May Be The Reason?
my Grand Father Urine Report ?
he is 83 yrs of age and cn barely move , he is having continuous toilet since morning...what may be the reason

color Pale yellow epithelal cells 1-2/hpf
appearnace s hazy pus cells 3-4/hpf
reaction acidic rbc nil
specific gravity QNS casts nil
CHEMICAL EXAMINATION crystals nil

Your grandfather who is 83 years old is having frequency of micturation.The most common cause of frequency of micturation at this age is benign hyperplasia of prostrate (BPH).that is enlargement of prostate. which occurs in all male at this age.BHP along with infection of prostate, what is called as prostits can gives rise to frequency of micturation.The urine examination of your grandfather is normal except mild UTI that is urinary tract infection (puss cell 3-4/HPF)G ive him plenty of water to drink and I would suggest you to consult a physician who may prescribe antibiotic to your grandfather for BHP and for UTI.
