Frequent Painful Eye Hemmorrhage With Negative Result For Multiple Myeloma.

I have been getting a lot of eye hemmorhages lately, and they are getting more and more painful. The pain can last a good 24-36 hours before the eye "pops" and the pain subsides. I am to the point now that I prefer to sit in a darkened room. My PCP checked me for multiple myeloma and that was negative. Some of the bursts are fairly small and others cover my whole eye.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
It seems from the history that you are having recurrent episodes of painful hemorrhages in the eye.
This can occur in inflammatory conditions of the eye like uveitis, scletitis....
Hence this requires evaluation by ophthalmologist for examination to find out the underlying cause and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
