Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Frequent Headaches, Strain Around Eyes, Dizziness, Nausea. Possible Reason?
Hi, I keep getting headaches along with strain around the eyes although I am not tired or stressed. Also keep feeling dizzy & nauseous as though I have just stepped off a fair ground ride but so far I have not actually been sick. This feeling can happen from the movement of being on a bus or just sitting still. I have no known medical conditions. This has been happening for the last month.
It would have been better if you had mentioned your age and nature of work.
Any family history of Migraine? (Migraine can present with headache and nausea)
Watching Computer Screen/Laptop for long duration.... ? Could be Computer Vision Syndrome.
Other possibilities are Vertigo, Anxiety, Motion Sickness, Stress and Lack of adequate sleep.
I would advise you to get a couple of investigations done like TSH, Hemoglobin, Blood sugars etc to rule out thyroid disorders, anaemia , diabetes.
Please do visit a doctor for a thorough evaluation.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Dr. Divya Kuttikrishnan
