Fracture Of The Finger. Pain And Numbness. What To Do?

I am f 36. My son kicked my fingers while my hand and fingers were straight down so kicked the fingers up into my hand. I heard a crack and the pain was immediate. Went to er thinking more than one was broken but X-rays showed fracture of the proximal of the ring finger. This happened 9 days ago. Since then I used my hand to catch a bag of groceries and now my pinky is green and purple as well. My middle finger has had the same pain since the er although no fracture showed. I complained of numbness in the outer part of my hand that night and the feeling of a pinched nerve as well. So then my pinky and now my fingers keep becoming numb and I have a different pain a shooting pain. The three have been in a stint not too tight and the middle and ring will not move at all besides a flutter . I also have a strange feeling in the tips once in a while like I m running them across a surface. I can t afford an orthopedic which I was told to see so what could be wrong?

Hello ,Thanks for the query .The complaints you are suffering is all related to your fracture of the proximal part of the ring finger, you are supposed to give rest to the hand and the fingers and make it in immovable position by bandage so that the fracture may heal up quickly and consult a orthopedic for medication for pain and numbness and recovery of fracture.Wishing you good health.
Many Thanks
Dr Shilpi
